The South Platte River begins high above the vast ranges of South Park meandering through the heart of Colorado on its way east. On its journey it feeds several major reservoirs two of which are settled only about six miles apart. Between Spinney Mountain and Eleven mile reservoirs is the stretch many refer to as the Dream Stream. Once you experience this stretch you will know why.
